We have been learning about pumpkins, an autumn harvest favourite. We have learned some songs about how pumpkins grow, read a story about pumpkin soup, and we even saw and planted some seeds!
Hemos estado aprendiendo sobre las calabazas, fruto de cosecha de otoño. Hemos aprendido unas canciones sobre como crecen, hemos leído un cuento sobre sopa de calabaza, y hemos visto y plantado unas semillas de una calabaza de verdad!
In the 3-year-old class, we have been adapting to our new school. We have begun with the first sessions of English class, and we have met our class puppet, Monkey. We are also learning a good morning song, a song about the days of the week, and we are learning about the weather: sunny, rainy, and cloudy. And of course we have danced a lot!
En la clase de 3 años, hemos estado de periodo de adaptación. Hemos empezado con los primeros contactos con la clase de inglés. De momento hemos conocido a la mascota de clase, Monkey. También estamos aprendiendo nuestra canción de buenos días y de los días de la semana, y estamos conociendo saber si hace sol, lluvia, o si está nublado. Y por supuesto hemos bailado un montón!

In October we will start to learn about daily routines (brushing teeth, getting dressed, etc.) and parts of the body.

And of course we will learn a bit about about Halloween!

The 4 and 5 year-olds are getting back into class routines, meeting our new puppets (in the 4 year-old class, Rosie the squirrel, and in the 5-year-old class, it's Harvey, Rosie´s brother), and reviewing contents from last year.
En clase de 4 y 5 años estamos volviendo a las rutinas de clase, conociendo nuestras mascotas nuevas (en 4 años la ardilla Rosie y en 5 años Harvey, el hermano de Rosie), y recordando contenidos del curso pasado.

In October we begin our first unit of study. The 4-year-olds will learn about the body, and the 5-year-olds will study the house and the family. And of course we will learn about Halloween!
Ahora en octubre empezamos la primera unidad didáctica. En 4 años será el cuerpo, y en 5 años la casa y la familia. Y por supuesto aprenderemos sobre Halloween!
