Thanksgiving

 After learning about turkeys, we talked about a holiday that people in the United States celebrate in November: Thanksgiving!  On this day, families gather together and eat turkey!  It is a day to remember what we are thankful for.

Después de aprender sobre los pavos, hablamos de una festividad de EEUU que se celebra en noviembre: ¡el día de Acción de Gracias! Ese día las familias se juntan para comer pavo y para dar las gracias por todo lo que tenemos.

In December we will continue working on the themes of family and the house, as well as toys and Christmas.

A very curious animal that is common in the United States is the turkey. Its sound is "gobble gobble"!  Here you can see different types of turkeys and hear their sound:

This month and next month we are also studying the family, rooms in the house, and being polite (please and thank you).
